Christmas in Germany

We arrived in Goslar where Jim and Katrine picked us up and brought us to our accommodation. We had a quick preparation and met up with the Heise family for Edith 87th birthday at the Rathskeller.
Christmas in Germany is celebrated on Christmas Eve. We went to Jim and Edith house where we had racklette for dinner. This is a traditional Swedish dish of melted cheese on potatoes - with pickles.

The girls had decorated the tree and we enjoyed exchanging presents in front of the real tree with candles.
