Today was our organised tour to the concentration camps. It was -7 degrees outside with a wind chill factor of -12. The bus was overheated - as happens in Europe.
The tour was informative and comprehensive - all I could keep thinking is that these people lived in the canoes with weather like this and no proper heating or decent warm clothing. Standing out in sub zero temperature makes it seem horrific - and then you remember that so many millions were murdered so no valid reason.
