An overnight train from Budapest to Krakow. Although we only had two people per carriage in the sleeper carriage - the beds were super hard. Peter likened them to a hospital gurney - and he would know. We arrived at 6am to Krakow covered in snow. Lucky for us the new accommodation let us drop our gear off, so after acuppa and a quick rest we headed off for our free walking tour of Krakow with Guruwalk. Now - just in case you have never done a free tour, it is not free. At the end of the tour you pay the guide what you th8nk the tour was worth. Still better value than an expensive tour.
